Mr. Carey Barasa is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Commissioner for Oaths and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb). He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B.) from Strathmore University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.

 

He has over four years of post-admission experience advising and representing clients across a broad range of commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution matters. He stands out in his commitment to delivering practical, commercially focused legal  solutions while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and client service.

 

His practice encompasses commercial litigation, employment & labour disputes, land & environmental litigation, energy & mining litigation and banking & securities litigation.

 

He is also experienced in commercial and international investment arbitration.

Carey has extensive experience appearing before Courts of varying stature, specialized tribunals and arbitral tribunals, where he has represented clients in complex and high value commercial disputes.

Prior to joining A. Mulu & Company Advocates, Carey practiced with established law firms, including Kaplan & Stratton LLP, Oyugi & Company Advocates and Chege Kibathi & Company Advocates LLP.
